If we talk about me, I gather half of the knowledge about technology and all the other kinds of trends through my social media network. Amit Agarwal
Starting from a popular and successful internet icon from India, Amit Agarwal calls himself the first and the only professional blogger from India (eh, I don't agree this). He is the founder and author at an award winning technology blog, Digital Inspiration. He has also written for various popular publications including The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Express.
Guy Kawasaki
Guy Kawasaki is a former Apple Fellow responsible for the marketing of the original Macintosh in 1984. He is an author and speaker. One reason I am including him in this post is that I have been inspired from his social media posts and his books. Some time earlier from now he had announced that he'd be joining Google.
Ben Parr
Ben Parr has been associated with the top names on technology including Mashable and CNET. He is also the co-founder of a venture capital #DominateFund. Mr. Parr has got many rewards including some for his social media posts. Some of these are San Francisco's coolest social media geek by SF Weekly and "Technology Industry Trendsetter, Luminary & Chronicler" by the Public Relations Society of America.
Craig Newmark
Craig is the founder of his well known website Craigslist which is an advertisement website and includes a lot of technology and business columns. Newmark's social media posts are frequent, up to date, accurate and inspiring. Most of my Facebook timelines useful posts are filled with his'.
Robert Scoble
Just like many of the people reading this post and me, Robert is a professional blogger and a real pro one. He owns his technology blog Scobleizer which again is one of the finest technology blogs to subscribe to. If you get subscribed to him, you won't need to hunt for the latest news in technology anywhere else than your social feeds. He is one of the most active technology activists I know.
Darren Rowse
Darren has a sole Twitter profile and a blog every blogger must subscribe too. He is the founder of ProBlogger which is one of the best and the most trusted online resource for blogging tutorials and tips. His Twitter tag line mentions, "Helping Bloggers Reach their Potential" and this alone says a lot.
Kevin Rose
Kevin Rose is the founder of the four big names on the Internet, Revision3, Digg, Pownce, and Milk. He is an internet and social media entrepreneur with a social media network he owns. Kevin is a venture partner at Google now with other members from Milk. He is also an active social media publisher and he posts interesting information on his profiles.
Pete Cashmore
Another one of the big names in this directory is Pete Cashmore. Cashmore is the founder and CEO of the very popular technology blog Mashable which is considered one of the top blogs in Tech. in the world and is one of the Technorati's top 10 blogs. Pete is also one of the top 25 web celebrities according to Forbes.
Michael Arrington
Arrington is the co-editor and founder of another big daddy blog in technology, TechCrunch. I think the name is enough to describe this man. Michael has a social crunchbase of more than 281,101 direct Followers on Facebook, much more on Twitter.
Mark Zuckerberg

Who needs an introduction to this man? Mark is the founder and CEO of the world's largest social networking website, Facebook. He is the names world's youngest billionaire and one of the greatest Internet entrepreneur of all time. Although he doesn't updates his profiles much, you should still follow him.
