The 4 best PC games for 2012

Gaming is a big sub genre of technology. Tech. isn't always about gadgets and utility applications. Many people (including me) owe their mark in the tech. world to gaming. Many just got into computers and electronics because of gaming. Some people are ignorant to this technology giant but to some this means a lot. A lot of games release every year but only some makes a mark. In 2012 up till now these four games we are featuring in this post have made the mark. All these are games which have their PC versions, however they might have versions for other platforms too.

Diablo III

Diablo 3 was released in May-June 2012 and is my favorite game which released in 2012. The greatness of this game can be estimated by the fact that it broke two records – the most pre-ordered game and the fastest selling game with over 3.5 million copies of the game sold in just 24 hours after its release (Stats Source – Wikipedia).

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a first person shooter game developed by Infinity and is an addition to the famous old Call of Duty series of mission games. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is available for a lot of platforms including Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii. The game has three main game play modes namely campaign, cooperative and multi player. This will be the best game if you are looking for a shooter game in 2012.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

The Old Republic is the best Star Wars game both strategically and technologically. This game is developed by BioWare and supported by the leading gaming brand Electronic Arts. It is the part of the series of Start Wars games Star Wars: Kinght of the old republic and is available on Windows platform for both on line and off line play. This is one of the bestsellers of 2012 however it was released in December 2011.

Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 is the 11th edition of the popular gaming series battlefield and is the sequel to 2005 released Battlefield 2. It is both developed and published by Electronic Arts and Sega. Like Star Wars: The Old Republic, this game was also release in 2011, October and is one of the bestsellers in 2012. Battlefield 3 is available for Microsoft Windows, Sony Play Station 3 and Xbox 360. Similar to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare three this is also a first person shooter game and is available in single player (Campaign and Cooperative) and multi player modes.
